MPI Foundation

For 25 years, the MPI Foundation has been investing in the people and programs that shape meetings and business events into a $100 billion industry. It is a philosophy of investment, founded on the belief that meetings are critical to the success of business, that guides the MPI Foundation’s efforts in strengthening and preserving our industry for years to come.
 
The MPI Foundation has raised more than $13 million and re-invested those funds back into relevant programming, projects and services, which benefit the global meetings and events industry. Last year, the MPI Foundation invested nearly $1.7 million at the industry-, chapter- and individual-levels through grants, scholarships and major research projects.
 
The MPI Oregon Chapter was grateful to be a recipient of one of those grants last year!  We used the funds to put on what we called the Roadshows!  Here’s a newsletter article that printed during the time of those successful events.  Thank you to the Foundation for their support!

Still on the Road in Oregon... You can still experience the excitement… Vito DiMaio will continue to inspire and “ah-ha” us with his interactive and no nonsense approach to success at the Eugene ROAD SHOW on May 26 at Lane Community College/ Center for Meeting and Learning in Eugene Oregon. This is a great “free” opportunity to invite non-members to truly experience MPI. No one will be disappointed.

The Eugene Road Show is brought to us through a grant sponsored by the MPI-International Foundation and provided as a service to our membership outside of the Greater Portland area as well as an outreach to attract new potential planner and supplier members in their home territory and see first hand if they would like to become members of MPI.

Raz Transportation has offered a complimentary bus for those from the Portland area (and Salem) who would like to attend this event.
